Fact #2: John New is MOST DEFINATELY NOT A GIRL...but he did try out to become a "K-Queen"
***Last week a friend told me about this singing competition taking place in the Selangor and K.L. District where the winner gets to take home 15K CASH (After visiting his/her idol's hometown-lazy to explain, ask me when you see me =S). When I asked him what it was called he said it was called "K-Queen"; and I was like:
Er...Guys can also enter this competition??
*Friend: If guys and girls can DRAMA Queens, then why can't they also be *magically pulls out a fluffy microphone* KARAOKE QUEENS!!! D-Queen - K-Queen getit getit? xD it's a play on words ya see xD
Me: o.O"...*twitchs*...if I join then I have a chance to win 15K?

So ya it does turn out that guys can also be QUEENS and not only that, they can become RM15,000 richer if they do!

the only sound I seem to hear for the past few nights...it's been only 4 days since the last of my exams have passed and the only thing I can do now is fret about my results that are still in the admist of being assessed.

This sem's exams will determine the fate of the oh so old-yet-new-one.
That is if he's dreams shall sprout into reality...or if his dreams will shatter into pieces-then maybe just perhaps he shall be able to salvage what's left of his battered ego. (*macbook*macbook*macbook*-random rant...nothing meant by this =X)

I had a conversation with a friend during last sem's holls...and these words definately says it all about the upcoming holls.

Fren: ..."Rotting" at home.

Thank goodness I have loads of things to do this holls; so in order to make sure I can transfer out to the States smoothly...really need to get down to business got loads to do...And I haven't even planned my iteniary yet -.-"

So I am once again in college...in the library...NEW RECORD! 15 mins and I got a computer that works-not forgetting to mention that the internet actually works xD.

So what am I doing? I'm finishing off my speech on AMERICAN IDOL!

Funny story really...I was supposed to do my next informative speech (which happens to be TOMORROW!!!) on the history of Blues music...but then there's too way too much to talk about so scrap that. So I had to find a new topic to talk about...*thinks*...*Hiro Nakamura Concentration*...conclusion: #blank#. Zlich-na-tah...

So I went to college yesterday...I still couldn't believe I haven't started on anything...So with my head down I went to sit in my usual spot...Then I started talking to Jilian-making random jokes as usual. Then I got emo...(why? Cause that's what happens after a sugar rush? =S) so I told her about my "speech" problem. That's when the true genius of (the) Jilian was unleashed.

It's official college com's. suck!

You'd think that paying about 6-8K per sem would get you top notch computer systems in Sun-U...GUESS AGAIN!

It seems quite apparent that Sun-U assumes that every student that joins their "prestigious" university college has a laptop...which is upgraded to the best specs that money today can buy...well guess what?!? NEWFLASH: I DON'T HAVE ONE!!! (I think I can speak for everyone who doesn't have one-or used to have one [T.T]).

1. Finding A Computer = 30 Seconds
2. Waiting For Computer(s) to turn on = 2 minutes
NOTE: It's common knowledge to turn on multiple computers in case the one you turn on doesn't work
3. Probability of computer working = [no idea...but I know it's bloodly low]
Let's just say it takes about 30 minutes to find one that you can login with your ID
4. Computer Slow and Laggy? = Always!

I had such incredible bad luck today. It took me 1 hour just to find a computer...just to print out my english assignment...haiz*

SO what am I still doing on the computer?

Since it took me so bloody long to find a bloody working computer. I decided to do another english assignment. It didn't take long to think about what journal topic to talk about...let me paint you a picture:

So yea, it's that time of year again...all around the WHOLE world...Children are going out to play-be it in the snow or some random friends' house all are getting hyped up for their biggest "pay day" of the year-excluding their birthday's of course, families gather around their BIG ole CHRISTMAS TREES for family bonding time,

So what do I think about Christmas?

I think that about catches the essence of Christmas in my point of view. That Jesus Christ came to earth on this very day, to die for our sins that we may live forever with the heavenly father...of course we (human's) aren't exactally sure of the exact date but the symbolic value is what counts right? =)

Yes there are many out there who may not agree with me when I say this. But I want you all to know that Jesus is the true meaning of Christmas. (Not X'mas but CHRISTmas.)...If you want to debate about it or criticise me you can get me at 0...1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...9 =D. In all seriousness if you do wish to talk about it you can leave me a comment and I will get back to you =).

Entry 8: Getting Right Down To It...About Time =)

Hey Heyz! Back from an AWESOME TIME at Have You Got Enuf (a.k.a. H.U.G.E.) 2008!

I have no other words to describe the camp but INCREDIBLE! God really moved!
I think I can speak for all campers when I say this; God gave us all a new heart, a heart that will indeed go for to all nations of the world and make disciples!

Now...to get right down to it (as entitled above =S)

Yes it's true! I am considering moving to the American Degree Transfer Program! To be honest I am not really sure if I want to transfer over, however after having giving it much thought and reflection for the last 3 months, I feel that this is the best path for me to take.

3 quick reasons why I am moving over to ADTP:

1. Lost Focus: Joined two student councils (well Juniors isn't exactally a student council...more like "training ground"...close enough) and got caught up in it's busyness.
2. Loss of Passion: As a result of this loss in focus, I no longer feel the passion/drive/determination I had when I first joined the course...I think my first sem. results will speak for themselves when I get it.
3. New Direction: Now that I know what it is I really want to do with my life...(that's for me to know and for you to find out =D), I know America is the way to go.

That's about it...Oh right what will I miss about A-Level...of course "we" all want to know that dont' we hehe...:

3 Things I'll Miss About A-Level:

1. Being able to boast about being "A Level Above The Rest" (not sure if you all know but this is HELP's A-Level slogan too haha-who came up with it first? How should I know =(?)...can't think of an acronym for ADTP yet...will get right down to thinkin' about it if i join the course (which is most likely =D)

2. The Awesome FRIENDS I've made in the last 6 months. Don't worry guys we can still chill (as long as we all aren't too busy studying haha ;P), just let me know aite? =P

3. Did I mention FRIENDS? =)

Yea, you guys are awesome! Thanks for making me feel a part, without you guys I don't know how I would have even made it through the last 6 months of this year. Things have been tough. But we all went through and came out of this a new and better person better prepared to see another year, amen? =D Will Miss Ya'll!

1. Read BOOKS

...NO NO NO...please read your text books. Don't go about throwing them out into the open fire =S. I have to tell you...people nowadays aren't reading enough storybooks...at the right time anyways =S

If you're like me you'll know that the perfect way to sabotage me during exams is to give me a fantasy book! (e.g. American Gods =S) I've been stuck on that for the last 3-4 days now? Kinda slow for me but that's what happens when you are doing pt. no. 2:

2. Watch MOVIES/SERIES

a. I want to watch TWILIGHT!!! (Apparently the main actress is meant to be hot...I don't know =S-that's why I want to watch the movie rofl)

b. I hate Futurama...making me not study =S

c. Still LOVING HEROES!!! =D

d. ...I want to watch TWILIGHT! xD

3. Go PARTAY!!!

haha this I haven't been doing. Never really saw any appeal at all? Clubbin' is for people who love to dance...and stuff...i wouldn't know I've never been to one before...too young =S (After A-Level I'll go xD-I heard they give free orange juice =D)

4. Play GUITAR!

Maybe this just applies to me...(this should probably be number 1 for me) NEVER, I repeat, NEVER...put JOHN NEW...In the SAME ROOM with an ACOUSTIC GUITAR...He'll just keep on playing till the dead of nigh xD

Before I get down to ranting...I'm sure all of you who are reading are so "excited" to know about what I want to get...right down...too...erm...anywayz yea...the A-Level Student Council [(ALSCO)-for short] of July 08' went out for a bonding session last friday. To watch the new JAMES BOND film Quantum of Solace!!! <...I didn't like it...=S will explain more in another post..when I've watched it again with my parents-for my respect for Daniel Craig I'll give him the benefit of the doubt =)> and to eat LUNCH (hey we are Malaysians man! You don't go out to bond...without FOOD!!!) RAWR!

In..."short" summary of that day's event...

We came... We ate... We left... And watched a (boring) movie...

Need I say more? haha xD

**In all seriousness, I'm sure we all had fun. There was "good" food (Italianies is rated "okay-only-lah" in my book.)-I had Spagetti Meatballs!!! I give it 3rd Ranking for now on my "Meatball Hunt-Chart"-just because it was huge...but I like Ikeas more (it's number 1!!!)...more tasty xD Williams and Murnis is the next!
The berbonding on my half of the table was good...and evidently it was good for the other half...well for some anyways...

Okay so let's talk about stress. Seems to be (for me) to be the central theme of what's going on in life right now.

Stress to the left Stress to the right. Every turning, every street corner, every lamp post, every junction...yea you get the point...

*pause* This is usually the part where ppl ask "So what are you gonna do about it?" (well ppl usually ask me that anyway =S...So, here i go...I'm going to show you my top 5 faces of "Stress":

1. "Is your work getting to you?...

2. "Some people are just plain scared out of their wits...well some just have an outer body experience..."

...well this didn't really help relieve the stress I feel...but oh wasn't it fun just sitting around typing out this really super random post! haha...w8ing for Psychology class again...playing "World Of Blood" on Facebook-*hallelujah* I am finally able to make use of FB applications on the college computers =S...OBAMA WON! HUrrAh! Stocks have gone up! =)

1. Boredom

Yes. It is true...Mr. New has finanly decided to blog...again...as you can see I'm so bored in college right now I just thought I'd start blogging again.
Don't ask me why...I am just so confused thinking about it...

You know those moments in your life when you just wake up and say to yourself: "...I feel like doing today/tomorrow/this week/this month/this year". Yea you get the point =)

To be totally honest, I don't even know what possessed me to jump onto this global bandwagon right now...I will probably end up getting hooked unto this whole "shebang" just like any other Tom, Dick and Harry out there-no pun intended guyz =).

Just sitting here at one of the college libary's computers for 2 hours just before my Psycho. Class...with my Psycho Classmates and Psycho Lecturer...oh what fun...hahahaha. [Just jking guys-and gals, you know I luv ya'll ;P] And one thinks that someone will go nuts just sitting around doing nothing what-so-ever for that long (well some ppl can stay sane but I can't =S). The only thought that just keeps me going is the fact that I'll be going home to my warm warm warm warm bed...*sigh* (I think someone shouldn't have done an allnighter last night...bloody HEROES...why so addictive =S) =D Yahtah!!! (is that how Hiro says it? no idea...Yahtah!!! sweat*)

NOTE: Season 3 is ROCKIN'!!! Don't forget to catch the Asia-Pacific premier of Season 3: Episode 1. On November 6. Only on Star World! (Well there's the world premire too...if you know what I mean...-sorry but I just couldn't resist =( *i wonder when the box sets are coming to Malaysia...=)*

2. Stress

Let's make things simple shall we...I'm stressed cause I study...I study cause I'm stressed...simple equation? I happen to think so...

Arg! So much is happening now...ALSCO (A Level Student Council) is planning a whole bunch of exciting activities to wrap up a great start at college with a big ole BANG!!! (just b4 our exams start of course hehe).

Juniors (a.k.a S.H.I.T. or S.L.U.T whatever ya want to call us...you know you make fun of us cause you really love us at heart...or maybe it's cause we are cooler than you all are...lol jk jk jk we love the acronyms "really" really makes our time in training a whole lot more fun =P)...anywayz sorry got carried away there, Juniors are planning for next year's "FRESHIE NIGHT". It's going to be a BLAST! Still praying for God to help out with the plans we have to be brought forth into motion. Even as we break into different departments that we won't screw up our 1st and only major project...well technically our "KL Tour Event" wasn't under us so we can't claim it...rats.

All in all...It's going to be a fun but VERY bumpy ride to the end of the year. Can't w8! Just hope I can study...okay off I go to Psycho class to learn more about how to be a Psycho...=P (I think we are wraping up about the nation of morons...oh come on people..."The Nation Of Morons?!?!?" don't tell me it's not obvious where that is =S) =D
